Help with ideas to setup products

Hello everyone,

We are in Ecommerce retail business and we have a special requirement of procuring assets from our customers physically via postal service and we need to do value added services to the customer asset and then ship back the finished product to our customer. All of this process should be automated in Oracle.

To support this we need to

 

  1. Add shipping package (box) to the sales order line once the sales order for finished product is placed. Sale order with have two lines. One for shipping package and another for ATO service item.
  2. We need to hard link Shipping package and the service item so that once the shipping box (with customer asset) is received in our warehouse work order is released for service item.
