How to disable Tax Jurisdiction

Hi ,

I have created a Tax jurisdiction but by mistake i have given effective date as 01-jan-2015 instead of 01-jan-1952

after realizing my mistake, i tried end dating it and creating new one but now the application is showing error as

" a Tax jurisdiction already exists with similar Tax and geography location "

Can any body suggest any possible solution.

This is very urgent
