E812_8.98.4.3 "NullPointerException" Filling Up JAS and E1ROOT Logs for Any Business Function Doc ID

hi, according to my user, their web server recently has captured so many NULLPointerException error in e1root log and yet resulted in slow performance for all E1 users..There were applications like P4101, P43214, P3002 and etc ended up with this error..

FYI, they also have upgraded their from older TR to 8.98.4.3...  do you think if i turn off the application recovery in the SMC , can it able to fix the error and performance isssue ...

Need your  advise ...
