How to keep awr data

Is there any way to preserve the awr data and import that back after cloning. We have a reporting instance and sometimes report run fine and sometimes take time. We want to keep the awr data so that we can do the analysis after cloning as well i.e, with what plan it was running earlier and with what plan now.
