selling uom for fixed price change

Hi everyone,

Question regarding selling unit of measure in RPM: In which cases we have to give selling uom while creating fixed price change from RPM application (UI)? Is it a mandatory field? If No, what if I don't give any value here and approve the price change? Please let me know if you have an answer.
