Using F0101Z2 to import Address book entries - AN8 Validation generates error

According to the documentation in: 625789.1, in order to do a batch upload of new address book entries, I need to create a custom application within JDE.

So, I created a quick headerless detail application exposing the F0101Z2 table through a business view.

When uploading address book records (leaving the AN8 field empty so that the system will generate it using NN), I get errors on the AN8 field stating that the value is required. (screenshot attached)

If I click in the AN8 cell and tab out, the error clears allowing me to save the records and assign a new AN8 number (expected results).
