IRM apparently hangs

Hi,

we are upgrading siebel 8.2.2.2 to IP 2015 and while executing IRM step, the tolls get hangs and crashes.

we have checked the log files and the logs are not helpful as no error is captured.

can any one suggest the possible reasons.
