Material Variance - Clarification
Hi Expert,
We are implementing 12.1.3 Oracle Ebiz to one of our client with Average Costing method.
1) Sometime, there will be additional material issue to WO (due to wastage, scrap, not in good condition) than standard quantities required for that FG as per BOM before delivery from factory.
2) We have other exceptional scenario that customer will request for some changes after delivery but before get these FG on board to flight/ship.
Please clarify the following:
1) What is the standard oracle accounting flow?
2) Will oracle prorate this material variance into three categories like WIP, FG, COGS?
3) Are there any report to track material variance like item/job wise for accountant to prorate to all these category when prepare financial statment like income/expense statment and balance sheet.
