Browser compatibility & MS Excel version compatibiliy for EPM 11.1.2.4

Dear Hyperion Planning Guru,

We are currently on Hyperion Planning release 11.1.2.2.302 and planning to upgrade to release Hyperion 11.1.2.4.

We are kind of behind as far as browsers ans MS Window Excel versions. I was wondering if you cane assist us with below questions regarding Hyperion 11.1.2.4 and compability

with browsers version and MS Window Excel version. If you come across of any issue with your users running Hyperion 11.1.2.4 and not having the latest browsers on their laptop and having

issue with Smartview since not having compatible MS excel version:

  1- We are on IE version 8 and will NOT be able to upgrade to IE 9 or 10 until mid 2016. It seems Hyperion 11.1.2.4 supports only IE 10 and above. Is that right?
