add diskgroups in Oracle 11gr2 RAC suse 10 using asmlib

Hello !!  I have two questions: 

1.- I need add disks  in existent diskgroup  on RAC 11gr2 Suse10 environment using asmlib.   Its requiered shutdown asm instance and ccs services for execute asmlib command 'oracleasm createdsk' ? 

2. - After the use 'fdisk'  for generate new partitions ... its requiered use the linux command '#/sbin/partprobre'  only for the new partitions generated wit fdisk?  i can execute partprobe without specify partitions?
