SLA Vs Sub-Ledger

We are seeing an issue where our sub-ledger is generating an account that is invalid in the GL and SLA is configured to over-ride.  However when create accounting runs the entry errors our until we create that account in the GL.  After we create the account Createa accounting will generate the correct account that is valid in the GL.  Has anyone else experience this and is there a way to avoid creating these accounts that will never be used just to disable them?
