P6 15.1.3 Timesheets - Will 'Remove this Task' only hide it from the timesheet?

Hi All,

When we try to exercise 'Remove this Task' option on an activity (which had some hours entered erroneously) from Timesheet, Save & Submit it, total hours seen in the 'Timesheet Approval' Screen is inclusive of this removed task. This activity can even be seen in the Timesheet details by the Approver.

So, is this activity only hidden from the Timesheet? Can any one please help?

PS - The Project I'm referring to is in 'Active' status.
