Unable to change new password after Jan 2015 patchset for SPARC

applyingHi,

1 of the system is not able to change new root password after upgrading patch to 150400-20.

The user is not able to change password regardless of what he entered. 1 observation is that those system which are yet to patch are working fine.

It's likely that the patch has altered some configuration.

This is the error message.

passwd: password is based on a dictionary word

passwd: password is based on a reversed dictionary word.

We have tried to comment away the 2 lines in /etc/default/passwd. Although it is able to work, but it is against the policy.

#DICTIONLIST=/usr/share/lib/dict/words

Howdy, Stranger!
