Backups Enterprise Manager or use RMAN

Hi

I am trying to configure the backups of Oracle using the Enterprise Manager, however when I set the destination and click on OK. I get the following error.


Examine and correct the following errors, then retry the operation:

Disk backup location error. - The specified disk backup location does not exist.

However the verify backup location button works fine. The backup location is another disk on the Linux system however Oracle is the owner of the folder.


I am wondering why I am getting this error, or whether it is just better to use RMAN to configure the backups?
