OEE Enterprise 10g - can remove trc file in trace folder?

hi, i was wondering if we are in this DB server and navigate to app\xxx\diag\clients\xxxx\host_xxxx\trace folder, there are quite many trc files which contain large size of file...

Can i remove all of them ?  Or can i just keep one of the latest trc file ? 

What is trc file ? is it trace log ? or something else.....
