Severe Error: Unable to update needed components. Exiting!

Hi,

I am getting this error on fairly new workstation. E1 was installed about 1 month ago, it's been working just fine.  Today the user is unable to login to E1.

1.  Launch E1 icon

2.  Login with user credentials

3.  pop up box appears

There is nothing in the logs for this issue.  I changed the compatibility on the E1 icon to "run as administrator" but get the same results.  There is nothing in KM except for 1 doc & 1 bug and I tried both solutions.
