OM Sales Agreement stucked at approval status

hello everyone,

I have attached an approval hierarchy with the Sales agreement transaction type and that hierarchy consist of one approver. after approval from that person why the status doesnot change to approved? It is stucked at pending internal approval. What should I do to apporve it at first level only.
