R 12.2.3 Need to copy/clone, Run fs to Patch fs , after fs_clone keeps failing. After application o

Folks,

I had applied the latest AD and TXK patches on our R 12.2.3 environment.  following document 1617461.1

While doing fs_clone I kept getting errors and after trying multiple times to fix fs_clone, decided to use the approach to just copy the Run file system to Patch file system and sync them, just like fs_clone does.

Can somebody please point to some document or blog or steps to accomplish this :
