Moving departments from existing domain to new domain

Hi,

I have created a new domain in the existing global domain configuration through reconfigglobaldomainpartitions utility. Now, I moved some deaprtments from an existing local domain to this new domain through loading merch hierarchy file. My doubt is about the user settings in the front end(It's RDF system, so settings like profiles, forecast administration etc). Will these settings also be carried to the new domain. If not, then it needs to be updated with the original settings manually? Also , settings like profile administration are set at the domain level, so if both domains settings are different then how it will be managed in new domain?
