how to add different ytd_deprn with fa_addition_pub.do_addition api while Life of the asset in total

the Life of the asset in total months defaults to value in category is 12 months , and i want to add 36 months ,and current cost is 1,335,275.36,and ytd_deprn is  2000  .however, the result is not 2000  but  the system caculate it to 111,272.94 becase of 36 months.
