Is there any property to restrict number of assets to publish using RealTime scheduled publishing?

We have latest OWCS installed with patch 6 running on Weblogic Server. One of the task within Sites is to get data from some repository on timely basis and store/update assets in Sites. Any updated assets are automatically added to publishing queue. We have configured RealTime scheduled publishing for every 1 hour. Automatically assets are published but if there are too many assets in publishing queue, sometimes we face thread stuck errors usually due to increase in JVM heap space.

Hence, I will like to know if there is any property or some other way to restrict number of assets to publish (like 50 assets or so) in one Publishing session.
