Adobe Flash Player and Solaris

With Flash being in the news in the last week, I've seen a few questions asked about the flash player that we used to ship with Solaris.

According to https://www.adobe.com/au/software/flash/about/, the last supported version of flash player for Solaris was version 11.2.202.223; which, according to https://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb12-07.html, was released in April 2012.

Given that Adobe has ceased support for this product, Oracle strongly recommends that you remove Adobe Flash Player from your Solaris Systems.

I understand that this is likely not the answer that you wanted to hear. Unfortunately this is the case now and as we can't get support from Adobe, there is nothing that we can do to change it. I also understand that Adobe have dropped support for the plugin on Linux.
