How to upgrade a stand alone ASM instance from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4?

I am looking for a document that tells me step-by-step how to upgrade a stand alone instance of ASM (that is, NO RAC) from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4.  The only Oracle document I have found provides and alternative approach to upgrade, but I am not interested in an alternative approach.  I would like the Oracle recommended step-by-step instructions for doing this.  If someone can point me to the right document or let me know the key words I should be using in my search, I greatly appreciate it.  BTW - The platform I am working on is AIX.
