How to create a hyperlink in HTML without using TAGS <>

Hi Team,

We need to have a hyperlink in the mail message being sent from siebel. However we have configured it such that we are sending a BIP report as an attachment in the mail. Since the BIP reports use XML if we are having tags <> in the email messages we are getting errors.

WE had removed the hyperlink from the message body and used the url instead. But the client needs the hyperlink instead of the whole url.

Please suggest how to configure a hyperlink without using A tags.
