How to change sys user password in EBS R12.1.3

Dear experts,

plz suggest how  can  i change sys user password in EBS R12.1.3. is it same as process of system user?

alter user sys identified by <password>;

is there will be any  impact after  change the sys password on my prod instance.

plz suggest i have to change the password on my prod instance.

os - linux 6.4 64bit

ebs - R12.1.3

db- 11.1.0.7

if required plz move the discussion to appropriate community.
