Changing Scheduled Pick on Sales Order

Changing Scheduled Pick on a sales order line triggers the order line to go through recalculating price history.  Is there anyway of stopping this from happening.  Scheduled Pick is changed by the warehouse to suit the delivery schedule and the price should already be 'locked in' at this stage.
