Need to exempt tax in Sales Order Form

I have this requirement to exempt tax on certain Order Types. I have used personalization to default "Exempt" in Sales Order Form-Tax Handling along with Tax Reason on those Order Types. Now the problem is that when I fill the Line Items and save it, the tax is calculated automatically.

What should I do?
