Depreciation Calcuation queries

Hello,

I have entered Assets in Aug 2014, Prorate is following month, it means depreciation will start from Sep period. I have defined prorate retirement that system will not calculate depreciation in retirement month when we retire the assets.

For Example

Cost = 120000

Life = 1 Year

Prorate = Following Month  like  01-Jul-2015 to 31-Jul-2015 = 01-Aug-2015

Prorate Retirement = last month like  01-Jul-2015 to 31-Jul-2015 = 30-Jun-2015

Date in service = 01-Aug-2014

We retire asset in 22-Jul-2015, System is calculating dep of 9 month but it should be 10 month (Sep to Jun). but when i change Prorate retirement calendar like 01-Jul-2015 to 31-Jul-2015 = 01-Jul-2015 then system is calculating 10 Month. why is that ?
