upgrading firmware on T4-2

I have a T4-4 and upgraded the firmware using a web interface.  I have other servers where I upload the firmware file (flash-update* to the root directory and then say to boot from there.

I have a T4-2 and the docs only have instructions for upgrading my using a tftp server.  Is there any other way to upgrade the firmware on the T4-2 please?
