Volume discount in Adv pricing

Hi.

I am using JDE 9.1 and trying to set price for Fuel ,  When I use volume level adjustment definition. How calculations are done does it really look for volume of part# OR just quantity entered in order. As I noticed it is only taking quantity. if I am entering 100 as "From level" for apply discount it is giving after 100 quantity.

What is difference in Volume and line level calculation.
