Want to remove default profile

I wanted to remove default profile in 11r2 database running on Exadata server. So I have two questions.

1) There is a user called XS$NULL assigned to the  default profile and database not allows to change it for sys users also. This account is in lock by default. How can i change it?

2) Can I removed this profile if any users not use it furthermore ?
