Supplier Ledger inquiry freezes on Address Book Inquiry.

I am experiencing a unique situation where Addressbook Inquiry in Supplier Ledger Inquiry or Voucher Entry randomly freezes.
The user is then unable to exit from the screen and has to close the whole browser and then re-login.
This is isolated and happens to only this particular user.
I have checked:
a) other users completing the same process, but this has not happened to them.
b) checked the web browser (IE 9.0.8112) for deviation in browser versions, however, this IE version is standard for all users.
c) trying to replicate this problem regularly, but this fails.
