Is it mandatory to keep compatible instance parameter on 3 digits using Oracle EBS 12.1.3 ?

Hello,

After several standard rdbms upgrades on our Oracle EBS R12, our database instance level is 11.2.0.4 and compatible parameter (and optimizer_feature_enable) is set to 11.2.0.4.

But standard Oracle documentations (i.e. 396009.1) give restrictions on compatible parameter :

# Compatibility should be set to the current release.

compatible = 11.2.0 #MP


Could you please confirm me that there are some impacts to set this parameter on 4-digits and which one ?
