In Average costing, Do cost update will also impact already costed transactions value?

For example, I have Item A and transaction 456 got costed with Unit cost 300. After 2 days in same period Item cost got updated to 400. Will this change impact transaction 456 and do any cost correction or transaction 456 will be accounted with cost value 300 and the same is posted to GL?
