Salary Grades in Manager Self Service

Sorry if this is not the right place to ask - we updated our salaries grades in HRMS. However, managers are still seeing the old grades for their respective employees in manager self-service. Our Support team says it's not possible for managers to see the updated ranges until an employee receives an increase. Is that true?
