Setup of CO, BO and POS Parameters and Configurations

Hi,

I am trying to setup the parameters and system configurations for CO, BO and POS.

There are some values that we need to add to the parameter file that are not present in the list of allowed values.

For eg: we need to add value of "Foreign Currency" for "AcceptedTenderTypes" parameter in centraloffice.xml file.

Please can someone suggest how we can add custom values to the parameter files without causing issues in the applicaitons?
