QA System functioning in hours and quantity

1.I've entered an hours and quantity record for a work order.  I then go to the Sample Test Row Exit.  Shouldn't the test associated with the routing operation number come up automatically?  If not, why not.  I had this working at one point, but it no longer functions this way???

2. If I bring up the New Sample Form format, the tests will populate.  However, when I return a 2nd time for a another sample, the original sample is still there!  I had the process working wherein the first test results would disappear upon taking the hours and qty Test Results row exit a second time.
