Can I update the Part Number on the Issue Logistics line after creating Sales Order

Hi,

In Depot Repair after the SR and RO creation, the part number is populated in the logistics lines. Is there a way to update the part number on one of the line (say Issue) after the sales order is created. The part number field is greyed out as soon as the order is created and doesn't allow to update it in the UI.

Is there an API to update the part number on this line? What is the significance of keeping this field non-updateable as the SO line can be edited and Depot repair and Order Management are not in Sync.
