Server Upgrade for Oracle Database

I'm just using Windows 2003 Server R2 (64-bit) for my Oracle Database 11.2.0.2.0 Patch 20.

Now I see, that Windows 2012 R2 is not certified using this database version.

What is the best practice to do now when I'm force to use Windows 2012 Server ?

Should I upgrade the DB first on Windows 2003 to 11.2.0.4.0 ?

If yes, how can I do this? Is it possible to patch 11.2.0.2 to 11.2.0.4 ?
