no free space in root "/" file because of RMAN

Hi. I want to backup database using RMAN. I have 11 GB free space in root "/" disk. However when RMAN is working, I got 1 GB free space in root disk. I try to backup /home/oracle/backup file which have different disk (638GB). But I can't see any changes on /home disk. I see root disk is going low.

my archive log list

SQL> archive log list

Archive Target       /home/oracle/fast_recovery_area/ORCL12C

What should I do?
