V$log status

When viewing my v$log status we see five inactive status and one current which we want to see, however during the evening this will change to 3 active 1 current etc.  My AWR report will show log file sync wait the top event.

Once again what we expected.  We know how to fix the problem, and in the process.

My question I am trying to determine how long it's takes to catch up to 5 inactive, and the one current.  I am looking to benchmark before and after I move my redo longs around.
