I need a tag that can be used to get assets that reference my asset ?

Hello there,

I need a tag to get assets that have my asset in association (asset relation tree) or as a list of flex assets.

I did use the following tag : asset:referencedby

here but it is mentioned that "This tag may be computationally expensive and should not be used in templates used for live site rendering."

so I need a tag that does the same but with best performance and/or enables me to filter returned assets to target specific assets.
