Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi,

What is the purpose of effective date in address book ?

For testing, I have created an supplier with future effective date. But system allows to me create Purchase Orders immediately.

How to make that effective date more efficient manner ?

Please assist.
