Converting to SLA from Custom Account Generator

We will be upgrading to Oracle 12.2.4 and Fusion next year, are we required to convert from our custom Account Generator to SLA? In our current version, SLA is a pass through for the rules we currently have defined.

Does anyone know of any Oracle Notes that assist with requirements for the conversion and instruction that we can refer to?
