Subledger Exceptions report

Whether Previous period Incomplete transactions shown in Subledger Exceptions report will stop from closing the current period ? For example P1 period we have Incomplete transactions , closed P1 .. But now want to Close P2.. How far P1 Incomplete transactions will affect P2 GL period close.( No Incomplete transactions in P2 Period showing in Subledger Exceptions report)
