Moving components from one server to another

Hi Team,

We would like to move few of the components from one server to another. Current arch, we have few components in Linux server, we need to move those components to another windows server. So the steps we have planned to follow are

1. uninstall the components through EPM uninstaller

2.Undeploy the Web app from weblogic admin console

3.Remove the component ID from HSS registry

4.Install and configure the component in the new server.

Just wanted to know if someone has already done this and have had any issues?? I understand that from Oracle support this might not be supported but just looking for prior exp or any easier way of doing this..
