Log Information in Asset Creation Extension

Dear Experts,

We are currently working on asset creation extension and wondering how can we write something in log file without enabling the PA debug profile as it will start printing other log information which we do not want to print every time when program is running.

I know this is a standard program and might not have lot of flexibility in terms of customization but just wondering if someone has done it.
