Report that shows WIP variance details and points exactly where that variance is coming from

We are 12.2.3 and have this question on how to determine the exact source of variance.

If there is a discrete  WO that has incurred a varaince (previous level or this level), the wip value summary and certain reports like wip value report will show the variances however they do not exactly point out what material or resource caused the variance .

For instance if we have a BOM for top level A , with material B and C under it and open a WO for Top Level item A and do not issue say material B or remove it from the WO A' s BOM(in WIP), there will be a previous level variance due to this and the wip value summary and the reports above will show just that but none of them say it is due to material B or a certain resource R.Is there any report that will show this level of detail?
