Not able to RE-Receive the same serial number after doing a PO correction
We received a serial number 'SUPP12' for an item 890-0194 as PO receipt.After sometime the receiving clerk realized that he has received the wrong part number ,he goes ahead and does the correction.
The CORRECTION issues out the serial no 'SUPP12' from the inventory org.The install base item instance is EXPIRED as a result of issue out transaction.
At this point of time the serial no is issues out of the inventory org and the install base instance is EXPIRED.
Then the inventory clerk tries to receive the same serial no ,SUPP12, with a different item number.He gets the below error in the 'SERIAL ENTRY' screen-
