Inventory period & opm cost period closed prior to Final Cost of Lot Cost

Hi,

In our enviornment, business has closed the inventory accounting period and OPM (R12) cost period. But all the lot cost adjustment transactions are not final costed and create accounting was not run . The lot cost adjustment status is showing as "Not Applied" . Can we run lot cost process in Final mode to get the cost of the lots which were transcted in the closed period? Will the cost get applied to the lots without opening the period?
